Center for first year advising
The Center for First Year Advising (CFYA) provides academic services for first-year students in the College of Natural Sciences. These services include the coordination of academic programs, retention programming, and academic advising for first-year freshmen, entry-level students, and transfer students. Advisors also assist with health profession requirements and major exploration.
CFYA offers services in person and remotely, including appointments by video using Zoom. Students can make an appointment using the link provided by their academic advisor. Please email your academic advisor to request their appointment link. You can find the name of your academic advisor here. Students in good academic standing can choose to have their advising bar cleared by completing an advising worksheet After completing the worksheet, students must email their advisor to notify them of submission.
