Turing Scholars
The Turing Scholars Program has been designed to challenge our nation's most talented and motivated computer science students. Housed in the nation's 8th ranked CS department, the program's mission is to provide a CS education that is second to none. The program's curriculum offers an intense, accelerated path through the department's core CS curriculum; it offers special honors versions of popular upper division courses; and it includes an undergraduate honors thesis that allows students to work closely on cutting edge research.
The program combines the advantages of a small college -- small class sizes, close interaction with faculty, and honors housing -- with the advantages of a large research university, including an impressive variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, and ample opportunities for interdisciplinary studies.
