Spring Break (almost)

Spring Break (almost)

Dear Students,

Oh my! There is that feeling in the air. Spring break is almost here. As a result I have two messages for you this week.

First, it is not Spring Break yet! Keep studying. Knock out those mid-term exams. Finish those lab reports. Crank out more research data. You have to wait until the end of the week to take off. It's only Monday.

Second, take advantage of the time off. This is a great opportunity to reflect on why you are at the University. Often the pace of school is so fast we don't have time to stop and reflect on the bigger picture. Take the chance to sit and talk about what you are doing with someone else. Let them know what you are learning. Think about what you want to accomplish. Reflect back on why you chose to come to UT and to CNS. What has the experience been like (and how are you going to keep making it better?)?

Finally, have a good break. Have fun. Get some rest. Relax. Catch up on your work. And most of all, STAY SAFE. We want you all back for a strong finish to the spring semester.

Best, – Dr. Vanden Bout
