I hope the new semester has started off well. Remember to get a strong start. It is easy to fall behind and much harder to catch back up. So keep those New Year's resolutions going strong and stay on top of your work.
A great way to stay ahead is to make sure you know about key dates and times. When is that first exam in your math class? When is the next one? When are all of your exams for that matter? Put the dates in your phone, or your agenda, or on the giant calendar you hang on the wall of your bedroom, or whereever you keep your schedule (if you don't actually keep any type of schedule that is a topic for another email). Then you'll be able to plan ahead and you won't find yourself constantly trying to track down that syllabus to try to remember the dates and times.
This is true not just for your classes but for other key events that you want make sure you don't miss. For example, The Technology and Science Career Fair is on Tuesday Feb. 2 from 1-6 p.m. at the Frank Erwin Center.
Put it on your calendar now. Why wait? Other important dates?
The Health Professions Fair will be on Wednesday Feb. 24 from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in UNB 3.202 (Union Ballroom).
Finally, don't forget to set yourself reminders as well. You want not only to plan ahead but actually to manage to make it to the events.
Best,
– Dr. Vanden Bout
