Have I got some news for you

Dear Students,

Every day, there are amazing things happening across the College of Natural Sciences. Being such a large community, it can be difficult to keep up with the latest news. Fear not! Because the college has its own outlet to share stories about interesting people, new discoveries, and the latest events.

Too busy to seek out college news? It can come to you. You should already be getting our monthly all-college e-news, and you can follow Texas Science on social media. (That's what those buttons above this note every week are for.)

We have an award-winning publication, The Texas Scientist, which features stories about how the college's students, faculty, and alumni are changing the world. A new edition comes out later this month so be sure to check back.

Looking for something to listen to on your walk across campus? Check out our podcast, Point of Discovery. The latest edition features one of your fellow Texas Science students interviewing Deans Linda Hicke (College of Natural Sciences), Sharon Wood (Cockrell School of Engineering), and Sharon Moser (Jackson School of Geosciences) about diversity in STEM fields.

Best,
Dr. Vanden Bout
