Dear Students,
Welcome back to a new year and a new semester. Once again, we begin this semester with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday. So if you don't have plans for how to spend the holiday, here are two ideas.
- Come to the annual MLK Day celebration that begins with a march that starts on the East Mall. If you can, bring non-perishable food items for the Capital Area Food Bank.
- Or find another way to celebrate or serve.
At the start of this semester I also wanted to highlight a message from the College. Scroll down and find our "pic of the week" shows a new sign you'll be seeing in offices and classrooms around the college.
I want you to know that we mean it when we say "You Belong Here." If you experience bias, harassment, or discrimination of any kind, please contact the college or the Campus Climate Response Team. We want you to thrive while you're here and a safe environment is a big part of that.
Have a wonderful semester, serve others, and do keep in touch.
Best,
Dr. Vanden Bout
