The Center for Information Assurance and Security at the University of Texas at Austin seeks to be one of the preeminent academic leaders in Information Assurance and Security in the United States, by adopting a large-scale, end-to-end perspective - emphasizing national, collaborative efforts in information security research and education.

The Center is responding to the National need to advance the state-of-the-art in information assurance and security and to produce more trained information assurance professionals to meet the growing demand for skill in the area.
