“Eve led the apparel design internships program for more than a decade, connecting our students to internships and careers throughout the apparel industry. Everyone who knows the program knows that the UT Fashion Show emerged as the largest university fashion show in the world under Eve’s guidance, which over the years had nearly $1mil in sponsorships. More importantly, the fashion show was the signature highlight for our design students for several decades. Ultimately, her biggest impact – and greatest passion – has been our students. I regularly hear from alumni who trace their career path to the motivation and confidence that they gained as her student.” Dr. Stephen Russell, Director of the School of Human Ecology.
Following 26 years of teaching at UT Professor Eve Nicols particularly enjoys hearing from students, alumni and friends of the School of Human Ecology.
