Michael Marder is the director of the UTeach acedemic program, which prepares undergraduate students and degree holders to become certified teachers. UTeach is being replicated at more than 35 universities across the United States. Other initiatives include professional development for Texas secondary science and mathematics teachers, including a Master's program.
